IMPORTANT ISSUE FOR BGC
Members,
For those of you who have not heard, the future of BGC may be facing some serious challenges with the recent sale of the 5,000 acres that adjoin our western ranges at Rattlesnake Bluffs. The developer has just put in a plan for 12,500 homes, 3 schools, business parks and 4 town center shopping complexes, literally right at our doorstep. The Board is doing everything they can to stay abreast of developments and has already written letters to the county planners expressing opposition to this massive project. At this point, we need for as many members as possible to also be writing letters and showing up to meetings to oppose this. Our future may depend on it. Please read the information from the Board below and make plans to attend meetings if you can as this goes through the approval process in the coming months. Thanks all.
