Skeet Clinic was a blast!
A special thank you to Instructors Cosby Thomas, Hart Stuehmer, Steven Dunwoody, and soon-to-be-member Michael Hannan for putting on a terrific Skeet Clinic on May 10th. We have some great talent at this club, and it definitely showed on Saturday with the top-notch instruction these gentlemen provided. (story con’t. below)

They donated their time and talent and everyone really enjoyed it. It was a little windy in the morning (“sporty” in the words of Cosby), but the rain held off and it was near perfect for the afternoon group. We had a great turnout for both sessions and everyone had the chance to shoot plenty of clays (one glutton for punishment even doubled up and attended both sessions when we had a late no show).

The class was followed by a hot dog lunch, complete with potato salad and home made desserts – thanks to Jim and Janet Qualter and their volunteers. Rumor has it they are already planning a similar clinic for 5 Stand next month and possibly a Youth Skeet version this fall-don’t wait if you see an email go out for open sign up! For our other discipline leaders, if you would like to host a similar clinic, just let the Board know and we’ll round up some volunteers and host the lunch! It’s a great way to increase match attendance and bring our newer members out for some fun and fellowship.
