International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA)

Matches are open to BGC members and their registered guests. All guest match fees must be paid by the BGC host member. IDPA is the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated real world self-defense scenarios using practical handguns and holsters that are suitable for self-defense use. The main goal is to test the skill and ability of an individual during competition scenarios which are scored on both speed and accuracy.

The cost for the match is $10 if you sign up online at Practiscore.com prior to midnight on Thursday before the match and $20 after that time or at the match. If you don’t sign up online you will be scored as Not For Competition. A concealment garment (vest, jacket etc.) is REQUIRED.
