Action Pistol, NRA Bianchi Cup
Matches are open to BGC members and their registered guests. All guest fees must be paid by the BGC host member. NRA Action Pistol is a dynamic discipline within the “Action Pistol” shooting sports. NRA Action Pistol (previously known as Bianchi cup matches) are comprised of several events. At Buccaneer Gun Club our matches are typically limited to the falling plate event and the moving target event. Targets are shot from 10 to 25 yards and involve 48 shots on each event. Participants can shoot as many of the events as they wish for $5 per event.
Action Pistol matches are open to shooters of all ages and skill levels. Beginning shooters have the option to shoot only the closer distances of 10-15 yards. Firearms used can vary from .22 rimfire rifles and pistols to non-magnum caliber centerfire pistols and pistol caliber carbines. We strive to make this match fun for all shooters at all levels of skill and encourage new shooters to come out and join us. If you have a question about the event please call the match director listed above.
