Buccaneer Gun Club holds a public skeet match once a month, usually on the second Sunday of each month at about 1:00 pm. The matches are open to the public and shooters need not be NSSA members to compete. In March of each year we hold a registered shoot called the March Winds.
Entry fee is $10.00 for 2 rounds of skeet (50 birds). Shooters are organized into classes according to their scores and prizes are awarded for top shooter in each class. Shooters qualify for class standing with their first match scores. An award is given each year for High Over-All based on the highest total of six match scores.
The competition is informal and friendly with emphasis on safety, improving your shooting ability, and fellowship. We encourage newcomers to come out and try our sport and welcome youngsters, women shooters, bird hunters, and the elderly. Come on out and join us! Experienced shooters are generally on hand to assist new shooters.
Note: No shooting supplies are available at the range: bring your gun, shells and hearing and eye protection (mandatory).
See Club Calendar for specific schedule of matches.
